A custom base is a top/bottom or leotard designed to your exact specifications and measurements. It may or may not include extra features such as a skirt, strap detail, mesh panels, etc. A custom costume includes all the same details as a custom base, with added embellishments such as rhinestones, appliques, feathers, fringe, and other trim-work to complete the full design.
All of our orders are sent with a thank you note, which includes a quick washing disclaimer. We ask that you hand wash your garment with cold water only and mild detergents. Please do not soak, scrub, or twist our garments. You may roll them gently in a towel to remove excess moisture and lay flat to dry. To avoid any color transfer, keep dark and light colors separated with a towel when washing and drying. Please do not dry clean or use the hand wash cycle in your washing machine.
All payments will be accepted through Venmo or PayPal.
The first step is reserving a slot in our books. We require a non-refundable $50 booking fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.
You must fill out our costume design form 2 months prior to your production month (which is the slot you have reserved in our books).
We will create a design sketch for you to review, based upon the answers you have provided on the design form. The sketch will also provide the final cost of the garment.
Upon design approval, a non-refundable 40% deposit is required for any production to begin.
We will provide you with our measurement form, where you will give us a complete list of measurements needed to create a custom fit.
Your garment will be in production on the month you selected during your initial booking. It is guaranteed to be completed and ready to ship on the last business day of that month.
Final payment is required at that point, plus the cost of shipping, and your garment will be mailed to you via USPS unless otherwise specified.
Our custom costumes and bases are created with a performance fit. This means that the garment will fit perfectly snug to the body based upon the measurements you have provided. If you are concerned your child may grow during the performance season, please include room for growth when sending in their measurements.
Not to worry! You have a few options when getting some ideas for a design. You may visit our previous design page, which will provide you will all of our past designs as inspiration and examples of our previous work. Pinterest and social media are also great places to use to search for examples. Lastly, if you are still completely at a loss, you may provide us with a few basic details such as style of dance, song choice, color, and we will provide you with a design to review.
All orders are currently being performed completely remote, regardless of being local, due to the inconsistency of Covid-19. We take the health and safety of our clients, friends, and family very seriously. Luckily, our services are easily provided completely remote, and nothing changes within what we may provide for you! All we need is a complete list of measurements, and from there we are able to create a pattern and design that is guaranteed to perfectly fit. If for any reason there is an issue with the fit of your garment, please check the measurements you provided and make sure they are correct. We are happy to provide alterations for you, with the receipt of an alteration fee plus shipping costs. If there is a problem from our end, which is very rare, we will be happy to rectify the situation for you on us.
This is the month your garment is being produced. It is guaranteed to be completed and ready to ship on the final business day of this month, per final payment. If you need your order sooner than the final business day of this month, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request. You can expect to receive your order in hand at the beginning of the following month, however long it takes to ship from our location to yours. Example: production month is November, you will receive your order the beginning of December.
Unfortunately we do not have any costumes or bases ready-made and available for sale. All of our orders are custom-made to our clients. We would be happy to discuss a custom order, dependent on availability. Send us an email and we will respond as soon as we are able!
We provide two different rhinestone options to choose from when embellishing your custom costume. They are listed in order, priced highest to lowest. While cost will vary significantly between brands, all of the options we provide are reputable and stunning on stage. Most clients cannot tell from the naked-eye which brand is which, and we guarantee each and every brand will sparkle significantly under the stage lights.
Premium Crystal - Precosia and/or Austrian crystals are provided for our high end rhinestones. These crystals have superior faceting which provide maximum brilliance. This is the highest quality rhinestone we provide.
Wholesale Crystal - we purchase this crystal in bulk quantity and always have in stock. Great quality at the lowest cost provided. This stone will give you the most "bang for your buck", while still guaranteed to sparkle like the rest.
You do not need to know any specific details on your order when reserving a spot in our books in advance. We require all design details to be finalized 2 months prior to your reservation month. Just make sure you are ready 2 months in advance, however we do recommend booking with us as soon as you are able since we tend to fill quickly.
We cannot provide a general price list since all of our orders are custom made and unique to our individual clients. We will accept all custom base orders at a starting price of $150, and all custom costume orders at a starting price of $350. For custom costume orders, pricing will vary dependent on the size of garment, intricacy of design, and amount of embellishment. Most of our custom costume designs seen on social media and our website will range from $500-$800. A quote for your final price will be provided at the design approval stage, however you are provided the option to select a pricing estimate during the booking and design stage. Unfortunately, to respect other designers and our dancers, we will not replicate another designer's work. We will also not completely replicate any past designs of our own. You may provide us with photos of other costumes as a reference, and we will use them as inspiration to create your one-of-a-kind of completely unique design just for you!
